GURLEY G15 ENGINEERS OPTICAL PLUMMET TRANSIT

  • Powerful 30X telescope with quality Japanese optics
  • Dual horizontal verniers read directly to 20"
  • Optical plummet for easy positioning over ground point
  • Rugged, all-metal construction
  • Will never need batteries
  • No circuit boards = no mysterious error codes
The Japanese-made Gurley G15 is the same instrument as the Schneider TT700, which Nikon sold for many years .The G15 features a full 30x telescope with good optics, and the metal circles are read to 20" via vernier. The OP (optical plummet) eliminates the need for a plumb bob when positioning over a point of the ground. This model is still a popular choice for steel erection and other vertical plumb applications, where angle reading is not essential (so there is no advantage for the modern electronic theodolites with their LCD displays). Never needs batteries! This particular unit is in very good cosmetic and excellent operating condition! The case exhibits moderate scuffing, but is still 100% secure. Included with the G15 is the sunshade, dust cover, plumb bob, magnifier, and photocopy of the original owners manual. Of course, we have completely serviced and calibrated it in our own repair department..so it's ready to go to work for you! SOLD
