In the late '70s, Pentax aquired Geotec and used their designs for the basis of many of their initial survey instrument offerings. The T-24 has much in common with the Pentax "GT" series of transits and is of comparable quality. You could spend as much as we're are asking here for a good level transit such as the David White LT8-300P, but you would not achieve the accuracy of plumb and angle turning that you would with the T-24. This instrument is in good cosmetic and excellent operating condition; it has been completely cleaned, serviced, and calibrated in our own repair department and is ready to go to work for your.
