SITE PRO IS A FINE COMPANY WITH MANY WONDERFUL PRODUCTS, AND ARE THE CURRENT OWNERS OF DAVID WHITE, BUT...THEY HAVE NO CONNECTION TO LEGACY PRODUCTS AND CANNOT HELP YOU WITH PARTS AND INFO FOR THESE INSTRUMENTS (A FEW MODELS SUCH AS THE LT8-300 ARE STILL OFFERED). THE ORIGINAL MERIDIANS (WITH THE ODDBALL THREAD) REQUIRE A PROPRIETARY TRIPOD, AND NO ONE MAKES THESE TRIPODS ANYMORE, OR THE FASTENING BOLT ASSEMBLY! THERE WAS AN ADAPTER SOLD FOR A WHILE BY A THIRD PARTY BUT EVEN THEY  GAVE UP. YOU WILL NEED TO FIND A USED TRIPOD ON EBAY OR PURCHASE A LATHE AND MAKE ONE YOURSELF OUT OF BRASS ROD STOCK.
