| The B1 was in production for many years, and was (regretfully) recently discontinued by Sokkia in favor of their Chinese product. Excellent craftsmanship and mostly metal construction combine to make an instrument which not only looks and feels great, but is a top performer as well. When you sight through the eyepiece and note the smooth steady operation of the compensator and the sharp clear optics, you know you have your hands on one of the best available. This unit has the Sokkia logo and comes with the plastic hard case, making it a later version. The Sokkia B1 is in very good cosmetic and excellent operating condition. It comes complete with the original (plastic) case, and a photocopy of the owners manual. The case exterior exhibits quite a bit of scuffing, but is 100% solid and secure.
