| The 8123 is a perfect choice for someone who wants a more rugged instrument than what it commonly sold today, or who just appreciates a fine piece of instrumentation. It is 4 times the instrument as the DW Meridian or Berger 190B, at about the same price you would expect to pay if you bought one of those models new. All-metal construction means you won't have to toss it in the trash everytime someone looks at it crosseyed! The 8123 is also useful for high rise work, were inherent vibrations prevent the use of compensated instruments (auto levels). The 8123 is identical to the more well-know 8114, with the addition of the unique variable power eyepiece, which gives you more viewing power when you need it! |

| This particular unit is in excellent cosmetic and operating condition. It is pictured here as it was when we received it...and it already looks great. Included in the purchase price with be a complete cleaning, service, and calibration. It comes complete with the original (classic ) dome fiberglass case (also very good), dust cap, sunshade, dust cover, plumb bob, and a photocopy of the owners manual (including parts list). Priced at only ...SOLD!.....! If you need a tripod, a new CST ALW25 extension leg model would run you an additional $140.00. If you want to "tough it out" and save some bucks, we have several (used) wood stiff leg tripods that would also do the job for about $45. | |||||||||||
